I'm really digging the realistic take on the yellow suit. I think it works well.

Also, I hope there's going to be a scene where he rips the sleeves off. Long sleeved Logan feels wrong 😂

I was thinking the same exact thing. This looks to be based on John Cassaday's redesign from 2004 and that one leaves his forearms bare.

Hugh Jackman will always and forever be Wolverine. Perfection

[-] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

He's finally wearin' yellow!

[-] AbyssalChord@feddit.de 0 points 1 year ago

Probably an unpopular opinion but the color‘s too bright for me. Some kind of off-white yellow would be much better imo. Either way, I bet they‘re going to put some post effects over it anyway.

It's in a Deadpool movie. They get to be ridiculous. I'm a bit surprised that there are sleeves.

[-] Duranie@lemmy.film 4 points 1 year ago

Sleeves... for now...

[-] TheAndrewBrown@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Well it’s meant to look like the original comics, which had a pretty bright yellow. There’s a reason the X-Men haven’t used that costume in a while lol

[-] transmatrix@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

This isn’t a “through lens” shot. It will likely look much darker on screen if they follow current trends.

Even got the claw covers on the gloves!

I can't imagine any other Wolverine than Hugh. It's crazy for how long and how many different universes he has contributed.

Looking like ketchup and mustard

As a child who grew up watching 80's and 90's cartoons, specifically the X-Men TV Series. This looks fucking amazing, and I'm here for it.

Saturday morning Gambit in a movie(done right) would be sick AF.

Alright, I'll come clean, I sang that out loud.

Here is an alternative Piped link(s): https://piped.video/gMr2p39-gvE

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.

I'm open-source, check me out at GitHub.

That link took me to a loud hot mess express with ads automatically blaring in Korean (I think)

Edit: Hm, I'm getting downvoted. Either my experience was way different than everyone else's or OP is suppressing my comment. Can anyone confirm or deny the experience I had when visiting this site?

Looks good, but I use adblock. Must be a bot which creates invidious links from YouTube to piped(?).

Maybe there are better invidious instances in the wild but the bot creator choosed this one.

Great costume design

[-] pyromaster55@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I love it. Apparently Jennifer Garner is coming back as Elektra as well.

Pretty excited about this.

[-] FlashZordon@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Oh my god Wolverine's suit exceeds my lofty expectations.

[-] andrewski@waveform.social 0 points 1 year ago

Are we sure that’s Ryan Reynolds and not the T-Mobile CEO? 🤨

[-] DmMacniel@feddit.de -1 points 1 year ago

What would Hollywood be without sequels...

[-] Zorque@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Probably about the same, just with less money.
