Kizhi Pogost is a historical site in Kizhi Island, Russia, and it consists of two churches and a bell tower. The two 18th century churches are actually built on the site of the old ones burnt by lightning in the 17th century. It is interesting that these churches were built without any nail, except for the aspen shingles on their roofs and domes reflect the traditional carpentry skills of Russians at that time.

The Church of Transfiguration is the most remarkable part of Kizhi Pogost with its 22 domes and 37 m height which makes it one of the tallest wooden buildings in Northern Europe

Are the two next to each other, or are they separated a bit? Are they conjoined?

Oh, looks like they are pretty separated.
