Do we know where on PC this game is releasing? I can't find info on it. Steam or another?
Directly from the Palia.com website.
Palia just announced they'll have a gameplay first look on July 18th, from 1pm to 2pm Eastern. They'll stream it on Twitch and YouTube.
World of Sims-halla-craft?
This looks terribly boring.
Some people find endless combat boring, and would like some multiplayer chill time for a change.
I'm looking forward to this one. It is going to be different from the run of the mill shooter mentality that has taken over the MMO scene.
Same here, though I do wonder how they will keep us interested, as they have deliberately not shown any combat. Not even stardew valley went as far as removing combat from the gameplay loop.
I think it’s brave if them to experiment with games about literally anything but combat, and I think it’s about time. Games have evolved so much they could give us so many varieties of things to do, and almost all of them just go the same route of shooting and hitting things.
Oh I totally agree, I am very fatigued of violence driven games, and have high hopes for Palia. I'm just a little apprehensive that if they just try to copy the non combat parts of zelda and mix it up with animal crossing, it's not going to be enough.
They've mentioned in the past there will be PvP competition, like races, etc. Just unlikely to be PvP combat. Have to see how that shakes out.
