It was originally planned for a day earlier. This is supposed to be the one that brings Mac support.

Not sure what a single day more can do but I trust their judgment, looking forward to it!

PLEASE LET ME HUG MY COMPANIONS MORE I NEED TO HOLD ASTARION AND GIVE HIM COMFORT AFTER THAT SCENE I BEG YOU

I hope Larian will listen to this feedback, I want that too XD

Astarion, sure, but let me pop a Fire Resistance elixir and give Karlach a hug! Big demon lady needs some comfort! She got the shortest end of the absolute worst stick.

She got the shortest end of the absolute worst stick.

That's the most self-deprecating description of sex I think I've ever heard.

[-] ulu_mulu@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

You can hug her, tho I'd like to do it more, not spoilering if you don't want to :)

Also, read in an article for patch one (or was it two?) that one of the changes was increased smooching compatibility for short race characters

How about large ones like some of the ones in the Fantastical Multiverse mod or just regular ones under the effects of Enlarge? 😁

[-] ulu_mulu@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

Haha, well mods are not officially supported yet, but I'm sure they'll do something about fixing large too, looks like these devs truly care a great deal about their game and players, give them time, they'll fix everything and more.

Yeah, Larian are doing this whole thing RIGHT, unlike almost all other game publishers today! It helps that they're also the devs (a sadly rare thing these days), but even for devs they're going far above the modern norm! ❤️

One day can be a lot of work! Larian have people around the world, so it's not just 8 additional hours, but 24. Given the turnaround for the first two patches, they can do a lot in that time.

I want him to talk about it more the next day. Hey val. You seem distant. Is that because I sucked you off last night?

[-] Pratai@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 year ago

So many bugs and glitches to fix and everyone is cringing out on relationship simp content. It’s fine that act III is a mess… but hugs are what we really need!

[-] arya48@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

This patch is the one that'll have the character editor right? Been waiting for it.

[-] Kuro@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago

Any info if this patch also comes for PS5?

Patch on a Friday? So much for caring about their workers.

[-] Kbin_space_program@kbin.social 5 points 1 year ago

To everyone giving this person crap:

It's common knowledge in software dev that you never deploy on a Friday.

Reason for that is that any subsequent issues and critical fixes have to be worked on over the weekend.

And it's a bit of a superstitious thing too at this point.

[-] ono@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

You know, development teams do sometimes decide these things as a group, and individuals do sometimes prefer free time on weekdays. It's a bit ridiculous to condemn Larian just because they release one of their patches on a Friday.

[-] Pyroglyph@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Ah yes, because anyone who works on a Friday is automatically being taken advantage of by their company.

Sure, pushing a release out on a Friday is a poor idea if your workforce isn't equipped to fix it if it ends up breaking things. Everyone in the industry knows that. But implying that they suddenly don't care about their workers because they dared to push on a Friday is pretty moronic.

I suppose the company I work for doesn't care about me either because I'm required to work weekdays.
