Google finally figured out exactly what was needed to attract me back to the official YouTube client. (This is sarcasm.)

These Google statements include a lot of "we will if we have to".

Lol. We all know they already went all out.

Further adding DRM - which will 100% missfire and piss off their remaining legitimate users - isn't going to solve anything for them.

There may not be enough popcorn left in the world for what comes next.

Another reminder to get your videos off YouTube if you can (or at least copy) and throw them on peertube or similar.

Or throw your local video you found onto other fedi services for others to enjoy and follow.
