Another one of these "science" articles that go oooooh mysterious, only to directly follow up with a full explanation. I know it's just to lure people in, but it urks me because it feels like the author didn't understand what the word mysterious means.

The article is a bit unclear when it dives into an explanation, but that is the old explanation for this phenomenon we've known about for decades. Data from a recent NASA mission is calling that explanation into doubt. We thought we knew what they were, but new data reveals we were wrong and now it's a mystery again!
They also don't seem to understand what "deep space" means...
Guys, you have to stop using the office microwave while we're using the 'scope. How many times do we need to go over this?
