With his stupid nicknames and labels, we hear them so often that it comes to mind for me when I think of the person, even though I think whatever he said was incredibly stupid. The problem is the media dutifully amplifies his message... "Trump calls Jack Smith deranged! Deranged Jack Smith!"

I never believed that story, because I'm not convinced Trump is literate enough to read such a book or to understand Hitler's oratory.

You're thinking of the Grand jury. This is about the petit jury.

Grand Jury issues indictments, can put you in jail until trial, and there's generally no defense or judge present. They only need probable cause.
Anything else would be insane.
This is fantastic news. The identities of the grand jury that indited Trump were released publicly under GA law designed for "transparency", which is an incredibly stupid law in high profile cases.
I've wondered for awhile now if jury trials need to be double-blind.
