I recently listened to the solutions are already here by Peter Gelderlos, which I found quite enjoyable. Once folks like Bill Gates recommend a book on clima e I kinda lose interest. This one he probably won't recommend. ;)

It's also available as an audiobook on the audible anarchist podcast.

The dawn of everything isn't strictly about climate, but still quite good.

and right now I'm reading I Want a Better Catastrophe, by Andrew Boyd, and so far it's interesting (and accessible).

Not just about climate, but Less Is More by Jason Hinckel. It is anticapitalist and pro-animist (!), and I found the historical parts interesting, particularly the philosophical angle of how separating the human from the rest of nature happened (and how it played into abuse of both nature and humans)

Hurricane Lizards and Plastic Squid by Thor Hanson is about climate change, how animals adapt to it, how forests can migrate, and local climate anomalies.

On Time and Water by Andri Snær Magnason. A bit more philosophically inclined book about the subject.
