[-] ohellidk@sh.itjust.works 38 points 1 year ago

That's gotta be the dumbest thing I've seen today or maybe even the last week.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 14 points 1 year ago

Are you sure? There’s so much…

[-] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 year ago

Yeah... There is no way this is more dumb than saying "T bills might not be worth anything"

Dear god, I missed that one. I'll just add it to the pile.

You won't be surprised to learn that he's a Republican representing Georgia.

[-] hansolo@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

His name is Earl, but he goes by "Buddy."

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

I honestly don't know which is worse.

[-] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

I would be so fucking embarrassed to have him as my representative.

[-] cygnus@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 year ago

So would his constituents, if they could read.

Idiocracy was never more prophetic than it is in our timeline. All it's missing are the stasis coffins.

[-] Godort@lemm.ee 11 points 1 year ago

I wish you guys could have President Camacho. He at least cared about things enough to trust running the country to the smartest man on earth

[-] HorreC@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

[-] TheFogan@programming.dev 3 points 1 year ago

I mean... beyond the utmost stupidity of the US renaming everything internally. We're basically setting up for everything to work like our measurements system.

There's the solution. we won't actually anex any other countries... but internally in america we'll just call them all "eagleton" and "America's Hat" and "Dirty land where everyones trying to get into america from".

[-] moshankey@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

So, is this something that one throws together while sitting on the potty, or are the taxpayers paying someone to put in a fair amount of time and effort to come up with this waste? Just asking.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
