Wouldn't these technically be LPS signals? 🤔
Is the moon not a globe?
My understanding is that they're using the GPS satellites from Earth. From the moon's perspective, Earth is like a moon (sort of-ish).
and achieved a navigation fix
I set low expectations when I saw the headline, but that means they saw at least 4 GNSS sats at once, which is pretty big step forward.
