I unplug as often as I'm able to. So, it's not like I need a dedicated day, but if it helps people learn to disconnect, why not but isn't it a bit too late to announce it?
It showed up in my news feed late evening last night.
And here I am online checking for replies.
This shit is harder than it sounds.
It's kind of like all the "one day" boycotts, all of them are so quick that they don't have time to get the word out, and really what we should be doing is a long and concentrated effort
i wish there was a one day no electricity thing around the whole world and every single light emitting thing was shut off so we could all actually see the true beauty of space from anywhere on earth. i think not being able to see the natural night sky because of light pollution has contributed to humanity's stupidity.
