Hey all,

I just released minimal_worlds_ii - an album of Game Boy music made entirely with Furnace Tracker. All project files are available through the individual track pages, and all music files are Public Domain / CC0!

If you do like what you hear, worth knowing all other albums on that page are Public Domain, and all of the recent ones also have their source projects available (basically since I got really into FOSS and started structuring my projects in a way that could be easily shared)

Cheers :)

Always thought of the noise channel giving the Gameboy a unique character among low bit rate music. Glad to see you make use of it (I like Thunderking arena for instance).

Great stuff! Hidden Station Market sounds like it belongs to a lost Gameboy version of Cave Story. Really dig Thunderking Arena and Starfall Island!

This is awesome! I've only ever used ModPlug Tracker and now ReNoise. I need to give Furnace a shot as well.

Yeah ReNoise is great! Though since I've transitioned to a full-FOSS workflow, I now use OpenMPT as my main, and Furnace for Game Boy specific tracks.

I've listed my main tools here if you're interested: https://johnoestmannmusic.com/tooling/
