Federation not working properly in my community? (lemmy.ml)

I am using Lemmy as the official community for my ArcaneChat project (https://lemmy.ml/c/ArcaneChat) I do announcements there when there is a new release sharing "what's new?" etc., this gets federated to mastodon/fediverse but when people reply to the post from mastodon the comments doesn't show up in the community (see https://lemmy.ml/post/27324077), is this normal? I am doing something wrong?

Ok i took the time to write from my masto under that post and it did show also on Lemmy

I’d say it’s something about either lemmy.ml or mastodon.social or both

The mastodon instance I use is on 4.3.5, mastodon stable looks 4.3.6 and mastodon.social is on 4.4.0-nightly…

but wakest was answering to that comment, so i think it's right to not be federated on lemmy if the parent is not
