And the feed was full of rage comic garbage for what felt like an eternity. And there was jailbait.

Most people probably disagree but I think Reddit only became good after it accrued the current critical mass of people to spawn thriving niche communities for almost every subject.

Good one! Personally, Will It Blend was one of those memes that I just consciously ignored. Until I saw it on some actual television show. (quick digging: Modern Marvels, apparently.)
