Marathon game but it’s not for Mac, weird.
It has nothing to do with the original Marathon game its based on, an old single player game.
I wouldn't entirely say that - it seems like it will be a reboot, so a lot of the same plot or ideas will resurface
Looks pretty but probably the same old formula, and I'm sure micro transactions and a 90$ price tag (with the push being cheaper than GTA 6).
You can bet it will have micro transactions like a free to play game, but with an additional premium full price on top of it.
Bungie already confirmed it won't be a "full priced game", so probably it's 40€

With the Linux situation I am hopeful (I'm probably coping) but there alpha sign up talked about steam deck, destiny devs have as well, and the anti cheat will not be kernel level but no idea just speculation
Don't make yourself (and others) false hope, it will not happen. Why? In the past Bungie officially said they don't want support Linux. This company is quiet hostile towards Linux for whatever reason. That's why I don't have any hope for this game to be playable on the Deck (or in Linux general for that matter).
Sure things can change sometimes, but I would not hope on this based on speculation. Not being the party pooper here, just trying to be realistic based on history.
