I’ve been there. Used to work with a girl, had a huge crush on her and I assumed she did me as well. She used to hang out, we’d get lunch every day, she would sing songs at her desk and substitute my name, flirting was obvious to me and everyone in the place assumed we were in a relationship. Until I finally had the courage to ask her out.

She was completely surprised.

Oh well, live and learn. Eventually found my wife and here we are almost 20 years later with kids. Eventually the right one will click.

Yeah, entirely fake. But yes, you read my mind, I plan on adding some fun interactivity someday. Plan on some fake terminal commands like ping and so forth.

same reason we just elected donald fucking trump. people will always take the easy option that makes them feel good.

What gets me is how lowbrow and petty all this is and yet so many people just act like it doesn’t exist. I mean, the universe served up the most obvious villain doing the worst job of criming that I’ve ever seen. I mean his antics are nearly indistinguishable from scooby doo, I’m expecting someone to have a mask pulled off, find out it’s trump who then somehow gets away with it all despite meddling from those kids.

I feel like the entire world has been pranking me specifically to see how long I can believe that my fellow humans are capable of believing this.

This and the previous comment are officially the hardest I’ve laughed on this platform so far.
