the recurring theme of Western officials getting long history lectures after repeatedly showing their ass that they don't understand anything about the countries they're meddling in is so fucking funny
The message was well-received by Judge Todd Lang, who told the courtroom, “I love that AI. Thank you for that. I felt like that was genuine; that his obvious forgiveness of Mr. Horcasitas reflects the character I heard about today,”
i fucking hate the future, man
TL:DR the countries who voted against did so to prevent Russia from using this vote as a justification for their invasion of Ukraine. Indeed they used the pretense of "removing Nazis" for their invasion.
This doesn't explain why the West has repeatedly voted against it for over a decade.
Austrian guy calling himself Volkskanzler gets to attempt to make a government, very cool Austria! :austria-cool:
CGTN - Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen on Monday tasked Freedom Party's leader Herbert Kickl with forming a new government, local media reported.
Reuters - Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen on Monday tasked Kickl, head of the eurosceptic, Russia-friendly Freedom Party (FPO), with forming a coalition government after a centrist bid to assemble one without the FPO collapsed over the weekend.
[...]
[Kickl] then railed against a centrist attempt to form what he called a "coalition of losers" that sidelined the FPO. That collapsed at the weekend, leading Nehammer - who had described Kickl as a conspiracy theorist and security threat - to resign. The new leadership of Nehammer's centre-right People's Party (OVP) has signalled it will now enter coalition talks with the FPO, though there is no guarantee they will be able to form a coalition government and another election remains a possibility.
This guy is just a mask off Nazi, btw
In 2010, Kickl said he opposed branding Hitler's Waffen-SS as "collectively guilty" for war crimes. The FPO's first leader in 1955 had been a senior SS officer and a Nazi minister.
[...] Van der Bellen, a former leader of the left-wing Greens, said on Monday as he announced he had asked Kickl to form a government: "I did not take this step lightly."

Unrelated, did anyone make a news mega bingo for 2025 yet?
This is what I had for last year's bingo
Highly recommend the TrueAnon episode about the Afghan opium trade that mysteriously only existed during the US occupation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekUrnL8njek
Even in the one case where that might have actually happened, the IOF soldiers they were running towards murdered them anyway thinking they were Palestinian civilians.
French news anchors realizing footage of a Ukrainian soldier wearing an SS helmet inside Russia got past their censors: https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/1euznep/ua_pov_french_lci_broadcast_presenter_noticed_the/
Seems like they're far more embarrassed at the fact they missed it rather than the fact their government is supporting nazis invading Russia
at some point i feel like militaries are going to start screening out WT players because its apparently such an intelligence risk lmao

I don't think he had any idea what to do with those responses. He just ends with "I don't think the majority of Nebraskans agree with you" as if the whole room didn't just shout him down twice.
