I read the article and summarized it. You should try it, you'd sound like less of an asshole. You disagree, that's wonderful. Nobody is interested in your rant about it.
As I said, I agree completely. But the teacher was hired into that environment and knowingly signed a puritanesque ethics clause and broke it. That's why the case was upheld ultimately.
I agree and I'm not saying it makes sense to rationale people but objectively in this case, the optics hold water. This is a fundamentalist Catholic school with nuns. The teacher was unmarried and was also pregnant. The optics of an unwed pregnant teacher, teaching kids whose parents put them in a Fundy school where pre-marital sex is an explicit no-no does put the staff in a very awkward position.
I meant specifically voyager and infinity, I'm way too turned off by Syncs tracking and ad filled cash grab antica. Hard pass.
This article is dumb. It grasps at straws and seems to completely overlook the fact that union contracts have to be voted on by their members. If the tank and file aren't happy with this deal, it won't pass.
"Only an 18%" raise over four years is 4.5% per year. It doesn't matter if it doesn't keep up with inflation, that's still a hell of a guarantee. Very few raises are keeping up with inflation, mine included.
It also complains about $23 for part timers and seems to suggest it's not enough to make ends meet....of course it isn't. It's a part time job. $23 is $8 above minimum wage, like what is this trash?
Delivery robots didn't get approved overnight, they were being introduced and control tested as far back as 2015 in cities near me. Delivery robots also stand to make a profit for someone, so there was incentive to get them on measures and in front of legislation. Unless the unicycle manufacturers are petitioning to get them approved (unlikely since they make no money past the point of sale), it's unlikely anyone has actually pushed them gotten them added to a measure and started the legislative review process.
Regardless though, I'm citing the article, which most people - you included id wager - didn't actually read (which is totally fair, I don't usually either but there weren't comments yet!). So call bullshit on them!
It's SO boring.
Solid tip, thanks mate!
Lemmons is great! We should start a website or something. Maybe something fun like lemonparty.org!
Because you sound like an idiot that didn't read the article and is knee jerk reacting and going on a soap box rant. You disagreeing with the outcome of something is not the same as it being illegal. Also fuck yourself, I'm an atheist. Learn to differentiate fact and opinion jackass.
