You are why downvotes should be more common on Lemmy. You're grossly misrepresenting the article and story.
Return all that shit, sell your keyboard, and buy one with USB instead.
If you're using the connect app (if not, you should try it!), just tap the three dots any post you see by them, and click "block instance." Easy peasy.
I've just started the show, and I feel like from the outset they made it clear that a LOT of the show is creative fiction to fill in the gaps. I feel like a lot of people forget just how short the original trilogy is. F, F&E and SF, collectively, are like an 8 hour read! I don't love everything the show has done (and some of the acting is atrocious) but I love how they chose what boils down to allusions in the books and focused whole episodes on what that would've looked like in real time.
I also really like how they are not afraid to completely abandon cliff hangers for several episodes at a time, while still keeping you invested in what's happening. Asimov dwas notorious for that and did it SEVERAL times on the trilogy. Oh you wanna know what happens? Well I'll tell you eventually, but first, here's forty pages introducing brand new characters on a completely different planet...300 years in the future. Bitch.
Okay I want you to take a step back and literally FUCK YOUR OWN FACE
Also wasn't there a famous video of BMW showing how to mechanically perform every task on their all electric sports car? From car doors to hood releases to way more niche things 99.9999% of people will never use or even know exists?
Why, my friend? Stand up! Move about!
You seem like one of those people that talks just to hear themselves talk.
It would legitimately be difficult to get worse than the color team ESPN had. An out of touch former coach that hates the current version of the game he's commentating, and a monotone former player with the personality of a wet sock that appears to have a side gig fellating any and all forms of officiating. And for some reason they had them on at the SAME TIME.
I feel like it was way more glitchy last week but theyust have rolled an update because now it's absolutely solid. Thunder is nice too but it gets lost scrolling frequently. It has my favorite, probably most underrated feature though, which is the ability to tap to unblur NSFW and then re-tap to blur them again. I wish more apps would copy that feature it is SO SMOOTH, and makes me feel way better using card views and browsing with the all filter. Don't have to disable NSFW completely, but I can tap then double tap to see it and hide it again without ever leaving the feed.
Probably not entirely your wheelhouse but have you considered coop turned based strategy games (or just turn based in general)? Something like Divinity 2 requires strategy and planning, especially on higher difficulties, but they are entirely turn based and can be played in real time in co-op. Alternatively, games like Disciples Liberation which centers around tactocul turn based combat can be absolutely brutal on high difficulty.
