And I read the other day that "buy now pay later" loans will be hitting your credit report now, so I'm sure this will definitely help make America great again. What could go wrong?

It also isn't an operating system. It's an application that you install on an existing OS.

Could the company decide to lock it to only their hardware? Probably. Could they take money in exchange for preferred listings? Yup.

And if it gets shitty, like OP said, it is just a layer on top of Docker. You can leave it.

CasaOS was key in easing me into the world of Docker. I understand general use enough to be comfortable installing without Casa and jumping into compose files and such. But I'll still check out the store for apps sometimes just for ease of use.

Whole post is just a rant against something that OP apparently doesn't know anything about.

Idiocracy - My 18yo was turned off by the repeated use of F and R slurs even when I tried to explain the movie to her. She left.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - I had no interest in another reboot, but finally gave it a shot. It was really good. Looking forward to watching the rest.

Raiders of the Lost Ark - Well...I had it on while I was sick this weekend so I more listened to bits as a drifted in and out of sleep. Woke up in time for the finale though, and that shit is still awesome.

"argues that the administration is using antisemitism as a pretext"

Did anyone believe they were honestly trying to help anyone but themselves?

I imagine the concern is that the drugs lose their efficacy as they age, so there's the risk that the DON'T kill.

I find the opposite. I love video games, always have, but these days my time is more limited, I might go months without touching them, and I just play to relax. So over the past 10 years or whatever, things like GTAV, Fallout 4, and AC:Odyssey have worked out really well for me. I can pick them up whenever I want and either settle in for some story or just waste time exploring, doing side quests, finding collectibles.

Like what would I rather do in real life? Work toward a single goal day after day, or see what's on top of that mountain over there just because?

Renegades - Keifer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Phillips. It was alright. Highlight was the hilariously reactive flinching of a dead woman as shots were fired.

Empire Strikes Back - I mean...it was May 4th. Watched the 4K80 edition and didn't miss any of the digital edits from later versions.

Like "It's the HOMEBREW channel. Not to be used for playing copyrighted software."? I mean, I appreciate that they want to play fair with other open source projects and developers, but isn't the entire emulation community essentially "built on lies and copyright infringement"?

Since it's winter and I mostly don't want to leave my house, I busted out an unused Raspberry Pi 4b a couple weeks ago. Started with CasaOS and AdGuard. Have now added a few other services including Navidrome to serve up a lot of local-area music for myself and friends. Got a Cloudflare tunnel set up, then some authentication through CF as well. And finally secured a static IP from my ISP. This is the farthest along I've ever gotten with any of this and it's been going great. Nearly every hurdle I've encountered I've been able to work through.

Two things causing me grief today though:

  1. I also have Nextcloud hosted on a VPS and I cannot get to the point of running occ commands. First it wasn't found, then no php cli, then just errors. I gave up.

  2. I'm using Homer because it's just so simple, but the theming and CSS is driving me nuts. Sure, I can change colors, but will this little bar in the neon theme change from 4em to 100% for me? NOPE. Override fonts? Nosir. All good though.

More interactive than CYOA, more restrictive than traditional text adventures. Kind of point-and-clicky. IDK. I'm intrigued and will keep an eye on it. I hope they release the SDK well in advance of launch at least.

Backdrops is usually my go-to. I also used Tapet happily for a long time.

I'm a Salesforce admin. On a personal level I like it because it's kind of a mess and I can spend time on random crap. That's not to say that I think it's GOOD.

Last week I had some issue and decided to give Agentforce a chance before opening a case. It rephrased a standard help page I had already read. I rephrased my question with more detail. It rephrased the same help page again. I opened a case.

Turns out what I was seeing was a known issue. Support gave me a link to the page and a fix was already pending. So the bot that they are using for case deflection doesn't appear to search known issues at all. If you're trying to get everyone to buy into a product, your implementation of it should be strikingly good at what it's supposed to do.
