And which piece of consumer hardware offers more computing power (relevant for minecraft server) for the same amount of electrical power than a rpi4?

[-] CAPSLOCKFTW@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 year ago

You can't have more calculation power for the same electrical power consumption. A thin clirnt with an i3 or i5 maybe.

English is a foreign language for me. Which languages do you speak?

For example, if we cut copyright to 5 years instead of creator's life + 70, we'd have no problems with game preservation because it would be completely legal for older games to be freely distributed and repackaged (e.g. you could buy arcade cabinets with dozens of games preloaded). But because they have the government there to enforce IP law, nobody can touch those old games without risking a major lawsuit.

That sound like a band aid against a septic shock.

Certified government backdoor included?

Yes, but there are already algorithms which can replace it.

LineageOS for microG might be what you're looking for. It is a compromise to give you the minimum amount of google while keeping the functionality you want. It features "fake" play services, which allow you to use banking apps and such while not actually running google. Itcomes with privileged F-Droid as your standard source for apps. I'm using it since 2019.
