The gaming performance is mostly really good as well. Some windows-only games even run better on Linux (some also won't run at all ofc)

except our bad two party system.

Well, and the corporate owned media with a hypercapitalist agenda, all the lobby organisations, the lack of proper public education for centuries, red-blue-whitewashed historytelling, the oppression of the black minority, a deeply flawed election system, the imprisonment crisis, and related the opiod crisis, gerrymandering, not enough unions, the fucked up healthcare situation itself...

In maths, we are excited about new things even if they seem to have absolutely no practical value or application. Sometimes, things become important later on, like prime numbers, which have been studied just for fun for centuries, and are now the backbone of encrypted communication.

So the only reason why this exciting is because nobody did it before.

Good list, but termux isn't a terminal emulator. It's so much more. It's like a virtual machine running cli linux with it's own repos and all. You can have python, gcc, vim, emacs, zsh... you name it. As long as it is tui, it is probably on termux!

Any evidence that lemmy.ml is run by "tankies"?

If you want to argue against that, fine by me. I have nothing against an honest duscussion. But this comment is neither funny nor smart.

That quickly boils down to "How do we know anything?" and the answer to that is "We don't". When you think hard enough about anything you can come up with an explanation why what we think to onow and believe is wrong. To get around that irl you can employ different tactics. For example, you can check how plausible sonething is. How many assumptions do you have to make for a theory? Usually, more assumptions means less plausible. And you can ask yourself " why does it matter? What would it change for me?" and the answer is most likely it doesn't and nothing.
