So many chat apps that no one will realistically use. Until we have interoperability between different apps it's completely pointless releasing new ones.

GrapheneOS has an incredibly easy installation as it's entirely done through your browser (though it doesn't work on Firefox unfortunately).

As for Sandboxed Google Play versus MicroG, I believe app compatibility is much better. It's not perfect as I've come across multiple apps that simply don't work on Graphene but I hear the situation is a lot worse with MicroG. There have also been quite a few instances in the past of MicroG leaking data it shouldn't be.

Banking apps are fine on GrapheneOS and o think smart watches are too but can't personally confirm.

Turns out a maths Master's isn't specific enough for most jobs I applied for. I eventually got fed up with the ridiculously long application processes and took the easy route.

My usage just plummeted off a cliff after creating a Lemmy account. Infinity for Reddit is still working at the moment but I don't even have the app on my home screen anymore so I rarely open it.

Autofill on Android is just generally terrible. Password fields are basically never recognised.
