I host a few docker containers and use nginx proxy manager to access them externally since I like to have access away from home. Most of them have some sort of login system but there are a few examples where there isn't so I currently don't publicly expose them. I would ideally like to be able to use totp for this as well.

I'm looking for a way to watch recent Nebula plus videos. I only have two short videos that I am looking to watch and I don't think that justifies the cost of a subscription, though I would gladly pay 50p for each video.

It's an electron application so it's possible to connect a debugger and extract the keys from there if you wish to export them.

A quick search found this and I did similar myself a few years ago when something forced me to usr authy.

Funny how all these Roman salutes started when Posie Parker held a rally and now her crowd are staunch supporters of Israel and this law also punishes people for criticizing Israel. Never a good sign when your law also targets those who also tend to oppose the fascists.

It started when they started including Amazon sponsored results in the menu search really. These days using apt occasionally will install a snap package instead of a deb. It doesn't give people a good jumping on point and it teaches that linux is more difficult than it has to be.

I use Lemmy more than I ever used Reddit. It seems to be better at finding higher quality content

I love how the marketing for this was absolutely everywhere. It wasn't anything new. It just tried and failed to reinvent the wheel that was matrix bridges.

Phones with fully open source drivers including the bootloader and decent specs. Give me a UEFI over fastboot any day.

I'd also love it if electron and sexism would kindly go away.

Hopefully the EU makes an example of them for providing an extreme drawback to opting out for users. They know full well that this isn't how data protection is intended.

It sadly has a very serious neo-nazi problem to a much worse extent than Youtube ever did.

The UK has recently been on roll of making rulings where people have been assumed to have been discriminated against for being "gender critical" or "opposed to critical race theory". The equality act has essentially been nullified in practice.

Linus himself has said on the WAN show that they want to employ more women but they still haven't had any real growth or development in that area since. I mean that even if Linus wants there to be women in the roles there are reasons that there aren't.

First off, it sucks to be the only woman in a room. You don't want to feel tokenized but you often will. After being on the receiving end of sexism, you probably will be the one who has to speak out about it the most. Just like how Maddison was called a tattle tale, I've been called bitchy and a professional victim myself for that very reason and that has included in workplaces that are built to be feminist from the ground up.

To properly fight the patriarchal workplace environment means that men should be identifying each other's behaviour as a problem and nipping it in the bud before women have to put up with it. The fact that the inappropriate joke landed in their apology video shows they don't do the due diligence of making those checks. People often meme on the phrase "check your privilege" but I'd say that is what it actually means in practice; unfortunately people tend not to explain that too well.

Listening to it, there is a lot of focus on saying things alluding to "we were already in the process of fixing this" rather than "we fucked up and this will be fixed".

I'm also a little concerned to see that gender affirming healthcare isn't listed on their health plan when they have trans members of staff. I completely understand why Emily doesn't want to be in the public eye but she is by far my favourite host and I'd love to see her back and producing high quality, well thought out videos where she is given the creative time she needs. The people pressuring her (as well as others) to comment on everything were completely out of order though.

I think the culture of misogyny is demonstrated by the number of male hosts compared to women. Part of the reason people wanted Madison on board was because she would have fit the role perfectly and they just dumped her in the corner on socials. YouTube is a new industry and its disappointing that it is still as male dominated as the tech journo industry that came before it.

What I think is needed is for the staff to unionize and for the company to stop micromanaging and pushing performance because the "fun" doesn't feel like real fun, it feels like corporate forced fun. McDonalds does a christmas party for their staff and you don't hear people praise them for their workplace culture.

I live in the UK and currently have copper cable at about 60mbps for £60 per month. I thought what I had was bad because I have a friend who gets 1gbps for £30 a few miles away.

I have a particular internet radio show that I like to listen to each week and I am looking for a solution to automatically begin recording at a specific time each week on a particular station for a specific amount of time so that I can listen to it when I'm unavailable at that time. It would also be nice to fast forward through the ads.

People still insist on DMing me through Instagram and I absolutely cannot stand the DM interface, even of a modded app. I'm also told that the Matrix bridge broke when Bibliogram did. Does anyone know of any good alternatives?
