Oh yeah stews and sauces are perfect for the freezer!

I've prepped grapeleaves as a side for my meal once. I make them the way my grandma taught me, vegetarian with rice and a ton of lemon juice. I'll definitely look into the things you talked about more!

Yeah freezing works well for me when I make meat sauces. But I don't usually freeze whole muscle meat that way.

Interesting! I do really like lentils! Typically when I make them I mix with cooked quinoa and very spicy seasonings. I'm American but my roots are Syrian.I unfortunately haven't learned to cook much Middle Eastern food, outside of kibbeh, grape leaves and hummus.

I typically spend the week thinking about what I'll make for main meals and then execute it all on one day. I make 8 full meals then 5 overnight chia oats and 3-5 portions of whatever meat was on sale at the store. It typically takes a few hours on my last day off any week (work a really weird schedule). I supplement any other cooking/more oats as the week progresses.

Seems like hard-core hate for anyone religious is fine in many circles. Is there a point where it becomes as problematic as other forms of bigotry? Not any specific religion necessarily just the disdain for the religious in general.

I guess murder/attempted murder of prominent political figures having no political motivations isn't a uniquely American thing.

Agree completely

It has nothing to do with religion for me personally. Its about the reported slave labor, journalist killings, lack of rights for women and the countries connection to 9/11. Saying the US is killing people doesn't help or clarify anything. It's disingenuous and attempts to dismiss a legitimate criticism. Also, like I said, I'm genuinely not "above" consuming media from a country I think is bad. I haven't missed a UFC event in more than a decade. That company does shitty things but they don't really lie about them. The comedians I'm concerned with have made their careers (in some cases) talking about completely antithetical ideas/topics to Saudia Arabian media, culture and journalism.

It, unfortunately, does go burrrrr

So, what, Ideally, should happen to "settler-colonies" like the US, Australia and New Zeland. Because human rights violations happen in one place doesnt excuse them happening in another. They can all be bad...

You're definitely right.

I tend to agree with this stance. Particularly hypocritical of one of my top 5 favorites Bill Burr.

I'm a big UFC fan so Saudi Arabia being involved in my media is nothing new. That said, it seems fairly hypocritical for alot of the outspoken comics to participate. Opinions?

As the title says. I believe Reddit has been using shadow bans to quiet dissenting opinions that aren't inherently breaking TOS.
