I have a co-worker who is a bit-hoarder; he has several racks of storage filled with television shows, movies, documents, videos, streams, etc. He runs a Plex server for friends, but otherwise, just collects for posterity.

I thought it was a bit of an odd, expensive affectation, but now realize what a service he is doing.
