Are there elections coming in France?

We are hearing big words from Macron over and over in the last few weeks to support Ukraine - yet France is far behind when in comes to supporting Ukraine financially or with military equipment. And please don't bring that Reddit meme 'France is doing everything secretly and nobody knows about it'. Democratic financing in billions of Euros is public and not a high toilet paper bill like in Hollywood movies from the 80s. There is of course a lot of proportionate support by France within the EU-assistance, as France is a big economy and paying into the EU budget. It's a similar situation with Italy, as they are another big economy within the EU. Both EU 'power houses' are far behind when it comes to direct support for Ukraine.

Macron has been telling us just last week, that the local EU arms industry needs more orders to enable low and competitive prices. He also told us support for Ukraine should only receive subsidies for EU-made products. And last week we saw statistics that the arm industry/exports from the USA and France profited the most from the Russian invasion in Ukraine, as everyone is getting their military up to date and ordering a lot. So everything plays in his hands and France is reaping in big profits and getting support for its huge arms industry. Yet, the country is far behind in supporting Ukraine and Macron keeps calling other countries to support Ukraine more - or here that 'Europe will lose all credibility'.

What is going on here? Elections?

It's just clickbait and a lie, when comparing to the statements in the sources they link.

Both sources are their own news, with both saying it's less exercise on an e-bike. But by the concept of an e-bike, there is the possibility to ride more/longer/farther, which can lead - depending on the extra range - to more exercise, than a bike without motor.

This reads like an onion article. How did they not have to detect and fix their self-inflicted methane leaks so far?

This is the most ambitious move? While extracting natural gas, they create methane leaks. So far they were ignored? And now someone had the ambitious idea to no longer ignore them? How is this reality and not satire?

FIA is quick on fines against teams and drivers if rules/contracts are broken. Is there any possibility of fines against the Las Vegas track management or so?

In MotoGP racing, it's handled quite well. They cancel laps for qualifying and during a race, you get an official warning. You do it again with the warning up, you get a 'long lap', which is a small track-detour. Makes you lose a few seconds and with close competitors, also places. It's an immediate punishment during the race for 'touching the green' - the area on the corner exit outside the kerb. Touching kerb is fine, touching green area is a no-no.

It happens every race to a few riders and it's a fuck around and find out event for people who have a warning up on their name.

Data centres, business, hospitals etc. run batteries to bridge the gap until the diesel starts running. It can take a minute or a few until the diesel generator takes over, but it can run for hours and days with refuelling.

Getting batteries for 8h is expensive and risky - what if the power cut suddenly lasts 9h? With batteries you have a fixed storage, with petrol or diesel you can just refuel.

Having that unreliable electricity, my home server would be the least of my problems. I would already have a generator to keep the fridge running so the food doesn't go bad every other day.

As I saw in the past, there were lots of hype posts and what manufacturer X, Y or Z is going to do now. Most of the high-end phones already have an IP-rating, haven't they? Well, there is the answer. They just keep what they have been selling and it already complies with this new resolution.
