I'm surprised there aren't more distros that come packaged with it. If someone's used a graphical text editor in the past decade, then they know how to use micro. The only distro I know of that has it by default is Garuda.

I believe in you Budgie! You can do it!

I would characterize Michael more by his self-righteousness and ego-driven attempts to be good than his actual goodness; so many of the show's hijinks stem from his savior complex bringing out the hypocrisy in his attempts to be 'a good guy'.

To be clear I think it adds to the humor, not complaining at all. Horrible people being horrible makes great comedy and Arrested Development offers far more than just that (probably my favorite comedy show). But it can get kinda depressing, if I'm not in a great mood I can't take more than a couple episodes at a time.

Anyone have a link to a non-paywalled version?

Anyone seen this one? The cast makes me interested despite the reviews.

I agree. In this case the pictures in question include the model name, who you can research yourself and see is above 18. That community is strictly moderated, and requires model name, source, and age verification.

Interesting, my main takeaways aren't quite the same as yours! I can see what you describe too, but I would have summarized it very differently. I didn't see Evelyn's character growth and internal acceptance as a primary part of the film so much as a necessary story step in becoming the philosophical foil of Joy. I'm guessing Joy's arc is what you mean by the other really heavy point.

One thing I've noticed with this movie is that people experience it in very different ways, it resonates with a lot of people but there's a lot of variation in what exactly they get from it and how they interpret its message. It's really impressive how they were able to make it as universally enjoyable as they did, bringing together so many different themes coherently.

I'd personally recommend Garuda, as that's what I've mostly settled with. It's everything I like about arch, but with lots of little changes and utilities that make it both easy to tweak and easy to just use. The built-in btrfs/snapper is particularly nice. I get the whole toy thing though, it doesn't give off the most trustworthy vibes. But if you can look past that it's a great distro. Take a look at the lite edition, it comes without theming and most of the bloat.

You're definitely not the only one. I was baffled by the good reviews considering how little enjoyment I got out of it. I even watched it twice, because it felt like if I disliked it that much I must be missing something big! I think the comedy just didn't land for me - not my type of humor - and without that there's not much to stay engaged with.

That's useful too, but sometimes it's hard to find them by keyword. Plus if the answer to a post is 'there is no community' and the post gets popular, it can be a nice way to kickstart the creation of a new community.
