Quality of output depends a lot on how common the code is in its training data. I would guess it'd be best at something like Python, with its wealth of teaching materials and examples out there.

For some reason this movie never quite worked for me. It's the exact sort of movie I usually love, and no doubt many of my favorite movies were inspired by it, but there's something about the characters and interactions that makes it hard for me to connect. The mood of it is great though.

Also Jim Carrey in The Truman Show, and Will Ferrell in Stranger Than Fiction!

Not just a placebo! At least when made with a proper bone broth. There have been some studies showing it has anti-inflammatory properties, not to mention all the great nutrients it has! (source)

Anyone have a link to a non-paywalled version?

Little Acorns! That was my first exposure to this concept. Could you tell me a little more about your experience starting out, and what sort of systems you use to help? Or point me in the direction of a post for further reading (would you recommend Atomic Habits?)? I'm overdue for a big change in my life and I've been thinking about how to approach things as someone terrible at following through, so this has me interested. I'm not quite sure where to start though.

I believe you responded to the wrong comment, as I didn't post that comic. Either way-

It isn't always a matter of convenience over necessity. For a personal example, my grandfather knows how to use Facebook and basically no other communication technology; he isn't really able to learn new things now, so my options are to use Facebook or to not talk to him. If you're saying I'm acting unethically unless I do the latter I don't think much more needs to be said; if not, well, that's my point.

I'm not sure what you mean about adorableporn trying to make anyone appear underage - I see no indication of that in the post in question, and that's not the purpose of the community (it would even appear all non-OC posts must include proof of being above legal age). I'm not sure what your second sentence means. I had no intention of changing/mischaracterizing anyone's post and I find it very ironic you say I did.

I agree. In this case the pictures in question include the model name, who you can research yourself and see is above 18. That community is strictly moderated, and requires model name, source, and age verification.

This https://lemmy.world/post/1978767 was just posted a couple hours ago. It doesn't seem to cover what you're having trouble with, but it might be a good place to put what you've learned if they're open to contributions.

That makes sense. Though I prefer the customizability of Plasma I really liked Budgie's default experience when I last played around with it. Combined with the intuitive package manager, I can definitely see the potential - the current major simple / beginner-friendly distros feel a bit dated and/or have some frustrating design choices so I'm happy to have Solus as a competitor in that niche. I hope they're able to make the move to Wayland and expand their package repo.

I'm glad it's back, but I don't really see a reason to switch. What does it offer that alternatives don't?
