Not sure if you're pulling our legs or really don't know..

We've had the term "suss c*nt" in Aussie English for decades, and British English isn't that far removed.

Yeah, I'm sorry, I had to stop reading when I read that they own not just one but TWO homes. I saw red.

Meanwhile, I'm relatively terrified that my retirement will be living in a cardboard box under a bridge after suffering from multiple strokes based on family history.

Exactly. I wouldn't be working in some office job; I'd be volunteering my time to give back to the community, keep me active, and maybe make some friends. All part of keeping from becoming a weird hermit, which is my natural instinct.

I've seen some very small statured people working in big chains here. I don't think Maccas and their ilk would be taking the risk of illegally employing children, at least not in countries like Australia.

Also, if this is a young child, is it not a bit wrong to be sharing their image around like this?..

But, did he?

Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.

I've often seen that as a response, when someone claims that Jesus wiped the shitty Old T nonsense away.

That's the trouble with the bible, it's a book written by a bunch of men with competing interests over thousands of years ago, and honestly could have used a team of diligent editors, but has been held up as the infallible word of some dude sitting in the clouds.

I had to zoom in, as I read the bumper sticker as:

JESUS

IN YOUR SHOWER

I'm a little disappointed.

I give a shit, I do what I can to not make things worse and improve where I can. I don't think I'm morally superior in any way, shape or form - quite the opposite; there are many greater, smarter people out there who could do a much better job at improving the future than I can hope to. I have many, many reasons for not having children - this is just one. Yes, I'm a coward. No, I don't judge others for having children - everyone has a choice, and I've made mine. No, I don't hope for annihilation - I hope that somehow, this freight train with no brakes manages to make a turn without derailing, and that the future is glorious and beautiful and healthy. While I may be a sad, pathetic little creature, I do like seeing the kids of friends and family grow and thrive, I just worry what is in store for them and their children.

I switched over what probably was a small thing, but is big to me.

I like to have my tabs in a list, and google enforced the grid and kept breaking ways to put it back to list.

Once they blocked me from being able to revert, that was it.

I still use it on my work machine as I find the syncing works beautifully, important as I have need to swap between desktop and laptop occasionally, and there are other desktop features I enjoy.

But as for mobile - I am done.

I adored the fox when I used Mozilla everything back in the day, so it's like coming home.

I prop mine up on one of my little shelves outside the stream of water and put videos on. One of the streaming apps has an ability to block touch input, which is great to avoid splashes of water setting off the screen. I have a lot of hair that likes to rats nest when wet and I get easily bored & don't enjoy being in my own mind, so putting on a show helps.
