The good thing in our team is they send the draft back to people who know the role for review before posting.

I've seen some very small statured people working in big chains here. I don't think Maccas and their ilk would be taking the risk of illegally employing children, at least not in countries like Australia.

Also, if this is a young child, is it not a bit wrong to be sharing their image around like this?..

I gave up on it entirely probably a year or so ago, as I found if anything it was getting worse.

Living with an elderly relative in law, I often wondered if she thought I was watching porn by myself in the bedroom while her grandson/my partner is out in the lounge room watching shows or playing his own vidya games. 😅

My mother certainly told me it was necessary as a child, but I think it was more in the "upholding the social contract" and "not being a lazy arse" sense of the word.

I switched over what probably was a small thing, but is big to me.

I like to have my tabs in a list, and google enforced the grid and kept breaking ways to put it back to list.

Once they blocked me from being able to revert, that was it.

I still use it on my work machine as I find the syncing works beautifully, important as I have need to swap between desktop and laptop occasionally, and there are other desktop features I enjoy.

But as for mobile - I am done.

I adored the fox when I used Mozilla everything back in the day, so it's like coming home.

I live outside of a tiny country town in Australia, and local shops literally do not carry many of the sorts of items I need or, yes, want.

I work from home and rarely go into town, so paying twice as much and taking a day out of my life just isn't my bag.

If I can get local and it's not urgent, I will put together a consolidated list and go in some weekend when I have enough to make it worthwhile.

Sure, it probably makes me the devil, but unless I go move to a cabin in the woods and life a self-sustainable lifestyle, I can't realistically avoid supporting some amount of evil just by existing under capitalism.

I try to make good choices where I can, and vote for people who, ideally, could effect real change.
