I think the actual strategy here is that Kamala takes over AFTER the next term reaches the halfway point, because Dems don’t even seriously believe Biden will last 4 years. The catch is that IF the Dems can just roll Biden out there for 2 years and then resign, Kamala gets to finish out his elected term through to 2028, and is then allowed a full 8 years should she get elected in 2028, giving her 10 years in office instead of only 8 years should Biden step down now.

It’s far too early to call election outcomes for sure, but it looks like the anti-Hindu Nationalist coalition in India is dramatically outperforming any of the recent polls.
And when I say dramatically, I mean an even bigger margin (by far) than what pollsters were predicting in the 2016 US Presidential election.
The INDIA (anti-NDA) coalition was slated to win anywhere between 100-170 out of 543 seats. They are currently sitting in the lead in 261 seats. Truly unbelievable numbers. NDA (Hindu Nationalists) are leading in 259 seats, falling just behind the INDIA coalition as of now. 272 seats are needed for a majority.

I can’t wait until this doesn’t work and the people in charge get giant severance packages while the workers who were forced to implement this shitty idea lose their jobs! This is indeed the most rational economic system that accounts for human needs!
I have an incredible deal on rent in NYC and shop very conservatively for food. Why do I have to pay almost 30K a year, not counting any other living expenses, to just eat the bare minimum food and sleep in the bare minimum accommodations?
