I mean... yes... there are quite a few reasons I would not feel good voting for harris but there are 3 reasons I cannot in good contious vote for her, the first is the endorsments from Bush and Cheney, the second is this Reagon Endorsement, the third is she has publicly talked about class colaberation.

Except they have done genuine studies on this, and the will of the american people has no effect on laws passed in the states or the federal government. I wish I was making this up but I am not, I will not go so far as to say a vote means absolutly nothing in total terms, but in figuritive terms it is meaningless, and there are studies to prove this.

Second, You do not know anything about me or what I do or what I hold dear. That being said, I am higly unlikely to be lower or at the very least significatly lower on the kill list than any of them, I also do very much cair about them, I also refuse to give my vote at gun point to someone who has done none of what they promised other than "No change" to doners. A man who happily broke a labor strike, a man who is aiding with no qualms and bending over backwards to protect a genoicede. No they do not get my vote. Especialy when the "threat: on the other side has no material difrence.

I mean, intersting that you assume my dreams are to immulate a fictional charicter, they are not, and I can tell you I am well aware that the revolution 1 is not a "wet dream" that is just... disgusting eww... and 2 is not anywhere close, the amount of class contiousness needed is not anywhere near where it needs to be... there are also people like you who seem to think the idea of a revolution is cilly and psycopathic, and all you have to to is vote... dispite the studies showing that the vote does not matter at the best of times, and this is not that.

If you want to know who my Hero I would want to Imulate is that would be John Brown leading a Ritchous Revolution, or Castro, or Mao, or Lennin. but no I would not think about playing out some fictional charicter

you have to earn a vote, it is not something you get by default ... also they are materialy the same, also Biden has failed to make any of his promises to the electorate unless you count the one to the doners where he said nothing would change... so no I will not be voting for biden

I know what the term is suposed to mean, it is a term without a meaning, I am not an imbicile. Yes there are stock markets in the PRC but if you look at them they are run by and fpr the prolotarate, not as a corperation, anyone who has done a modicum of reseaech into the PRC know this

Also I am a fucking English speaker I knpw the fucking line, I was merly pointing out ot mase no sense in the context you where giving, where in I provide an AES example to cpunter 2 examples given to me of a socialist state who cannot?remedate the conditions they started

Landlords unironicly deserve it

so do facists

[-] CooperRedArmyDog@lemmy.ml -1 points 8 months ago

was trump significantly worse? I mean his retoric was awful yes, and he was a mask off facist, but Biden has done almost nothing to undo what trump started, and in some cases has activly sped it up, the only difrence that I can see is that Biden talks more polite

I am not trying to degrade the conversation, but I know how they usualy go. What I am saying is I feel that there is a fundimental lack of understanding of the geoplolitical interists of russia, and not only that, it would be the simpliler solution to assume that Putin is speaking honestly when he says he would prefer to work with Biden, even if that reasoning is as simple as he thinks biden has a better chance of winning and saying this now will make deplomacy easier in the future. I think it is a bit bold to just jump to the conclusion that because Putin has said X he really means Y, and it feels much more like the world view you subscribe to requries putin and the Russian Federation to want Y so no matter what is being said you will make it so it really means he belives Y.

  1. this does not answer the question.
  2. do all politicians lie? is this like a universal truth of the universe? do they have to lie?

Abortion is now illegal in many States, we have a potential civil war, with several states in a stand off with the federal government over weather or not death traps can be put in the rio grand, instead of actually doing didily squat about it our lovely president has sat their with his thumb up his ass and just let it happen, the wall is still going up, we are having more deportations than we ever did under trump, and also more kids in cages, really the only difrence on the imigration front the only difrence is its more effective, quieter, and they use nicer words,

Oh and the special council investigating the president all but said he would not indite soly because of dementia.

Oh and the genocide in Isreal got worse
