Ai bubble won't last. Stick with it my friend. Will agree though its still not a free ride. The job market recently can be rocky especially if you aren't better than average at coding. Suppose the rest of the job market isn't faring fabulously though either
Do we know these are civilian phones? My assumption was these are not civilian phones because why let them bring their phones if there's no cell network to operate on and no internet.
Edit: You might be right it mentions they can get Internet when it's not underway so maybe they have their civilian phones. I am not in the navy so I don't know the procedures. Still bad cuz of the other reasons plus some about giving them the ability to target those networks from a deauth'd perspective but yeah the last reason might not be the case.
It wouldn't shock me tho if they still had access to some like nonclassified but controlled info too on their phones.
Imo just use something else. If your build system is really simple just write the Makefiles yourself. If the build system tho needs to be really complex I would use something like meson or scons (Having worked on some gigantic fully GNU make build systems it can get pretty out of hand).
This is all a personal preference thing but cmake in my experience is really non intuitive and a pain to debug. I know it works for a lot of people but I definitely prefer particularly like scons since its python I have a bit easier time understanding what's happening.
If you really need to use cmake, use a debugger like another user commented. There's also a GNU make debugger in case you need to debug makefiles
I also have a bunch more since I was just looking through my steam library so if anybody likes mine I can definitely drop more
Heretics Fork is a really good deckbuilding tower defense game https://store.steampowered.com/app/2181610/Heretics_Fork/
The hell theme is cool, the cards are interesting as well as the characters you can play and overall just a really high quality game that's underappreciated.
Right now it's easier to find projectors without it and a smart os. Before long tho it's gonna be harder to find those without a smart os and AI upscaling
They would have to do the nuclear option and crush the filibuster. I agree with you though on the lifetime appointees thing. They really should have terms and elections
So much lib apologism holy shit. First of all I responded to the users comment. They are correct about that but just because the two said they would oppose doesn't mean biden did his best.
The biden admin fought tooth and nail? What did he fight for? You think I'm supposed to accept the one thing he fought for, student debt cancellation as some sort of pity policy? Trump came out all the time pushing the window to the right, fighting for his policy. You literally could not make him shut up about the border while Biden hardly ever used his platform meaningfully to bully others in the government into doing what needed to be done to build political power for the democrats. If you can't see that then I think you might not understand the full extent of the power of the presidency. Where's decriminalizing weed? When did he push for the minimum wage? Those were like his main campaign promises. The worst part is especially with weed he could have just descheduled it but instead he just lowered it by a single schedule to raise his approval rating.
I don't get why you have such a hard-on for biden. He did some good things but that doesn't excuse his negligent misuse of his political appointment at a time when our democracy depends on it.
With regards to Obama, do I have to complain about every politician I don't like whenever I criticize any other politician? Obama sucked at this too and this is in many ways more his fault than Biden's but do I really need to bring him up every time I go to criticize other democrats?!
It's possible but there was at least an opportunity to try putting forth some moderate judges which would have a chance to pull over center Republicans or Sinema/Manchin. Or at least force the issue. I believe they also had a chance after Roe V Wade before election time in November when the political will was more there to defend the abortion issue by getting a supreme court more favorable on the issue
I agree with what you are saying I just don't think it's a problem to also say Democrats are the problem.
In a just world many GOP officials should have been thrown out of office for supporting Jan 6th and the fight to overturn the election and the supreme court should have been packed, and every day our democracy was slowly being destroyed, high up democrat officials stayed quiet instead of loudly proclaiming that the Republicans are destroying our country and democracy.
There are Democrats who don't fit into this mold but the problem is that if you ask republicans, to a man they can immediately recite the reasons to vote for trump, wall, southern border, china ... And they are dumb in falling for the lies but it's because the Republicans have been so effective at messaging and that the Democrats have failed at messaging that we are in this situation.
AOC has said she would draft up articles of impeachment for the supreme court justices involved in the decision and though she isn't a perfect politician, that's the kind of fire we need from democrats.
Regardless of all of this, in 2024 I will be voting for biden. We can't afford to give trump another chance at Kingship. Project 2025 might mean the end of US Democracy and so it is with great shame that we are all tied to the Democrats on a sinking boat.
Sadly probably would never happen without a lot changing. It is really hard to get one passed unless it's supported by both parties and the Republicans in the US want this (requires two thirds vote in both the House and Senate which rarely happens for any policy that's actually worth passing).
There aren't really almost any Republicans willing to do anything against Trump at this point. I guess nothing is impossible given how bad things are but
I don't understand how it's not a moral or ethical thing. Morals and ethics literally define which policy you vote for and mathematically helping or being neutral to the side you know will do things worse for your morals I feel like is pretty directly connected.
Don't get me wrong, I sympathize. My preferred candidate has done some bad things but it's not even close to how bad the other candidate is. If the two candidates were Hitler and mecha Hitler like I'm not gonna be happy but I'm voting for the less bad of the two. Third parties are just not mathematically viable
Also vote shaming is like peak democracy. You have a right to disagree with me and vote however you like. I'm not trying to take that away from people voting third party but I also have a right to complain about it
