If you're sticking with Marlin, I've been very happy with the "professional" firmware. The configurator is pretty easy to set up if you change any hardware like a new bltouch or new hotend if that's your thing.

A good chunk of that reason could simply be numbers. Tesla sold over 5m vehicles, but Leaf was only at 600k in early 2022 (not sure how many have been made since then).

Edit: Got a closer data point for Tesla, they were at 2.3m at the end of 2021.

So I was attempting to install kevinakasam's belt mod and I'm fairly sure I stripped the thread that holds the M4 screw in the outer right side of the X axis profile (the side without the extruder attached to the tensioner). How screwed am I? Could I get away with trying Loctite red?

Pics for reference!

Edit: Thanks a ton everyone, I'll keep you all up to date when I try to finish the project this weekend!

Not without the 12V. I'm pretty sure most of the internal electronics are dependent on that working. There's an access port so you can "jump" the 12V with another car, which I think would then allow you to open the door though.

You can also "jump" the car to open it via a 12V access port in the front.

Now that I think about it... it makes sense now! A segway is a segue between two places!

Some quick googling looks like this is real. Looks like it was this deleted post.

Cassette Beasts might work. Turn based, collect monsters for new powers, and local co-op!
