We’re going back to the og crowd control options, I see. If you haven’t seen the relevant forgotten weapons video, Thompson and other manufacturers used to produce birdshot shells for crowd control. Generally intended for indirect applications, but there’s nothing inherently present that would prevent you from directly firing at protestors.

My uninformed opinion would probably be that someone somewhere realised that air assault is no longer viable, in light of a lack of Russian air superiority. And in general, the VDV has always been more of a ‘somewhat decently trained conscript force’, which only has an overall better image because they undergo slightly more training than their ‘normal’ conscripted brethren

I’ll nitpick that said definition is also arbitrary. Why is it 1l of water at sea level, and not molecular weight of the water? And why a Liter anyway.

Even metric units like time are somewhat arbitrary. Why is a second based on caesium frequency, and not some other element?

Maybe reach out to the smaller artists, then? I’m sure most of them aren’t opposed to sending you a file if you pay

I’ve literally never paid for Star Citizen. Not sure how I’m supposed to be a sweaty fanboy…

It’s a large scoped game, and from what I’ve seen, they’ve slowly been turning it into an incredibly feature-filled game that goes beyond the scope of what most other games deliver.

Maybe because development has a high ongoing cost that they do not have any other product to take up? Star citizen has a fairly large scope, and the fact that they have even gotten to the point where a fairly high number of gameplay loops are fully integrated is quite impressive. If you look at their ship designs, for example, you can see just how much care was put into a lot of the designs (see the architectural reviews, for example)

I’ll say that it’s a logical position: the GOP loves any and all innocent lives (that vote for them). If you’re a good white Christian (to some extent you can be a good black too), you’re innocent and therefore allowed to live. If you’re a criminal, an ex soldier with PTSD, LGBT, a political dissident, poor, of the wrong religion, of the wrong race, of the wrong citizenship, your right to free and unmolested life is revoked.
Babies are good because they are not old enough to be anything but a possible future GOP voter.

So why is so much information (data) freely available on the internet? How do you expect a human artist to learn drawing, if not looking at tutorials and improving their skills through emulating what they see?

[-] DaDragon@kbin.social 4 points 11 months ago

To some extent, it actually does go over well, sadly.

If anything, a lot of the stuff I used to use Reddit for is still only available on Reddit.

On the plus side though, I no longer scroll Reddit, and only use it when I need to get some information on a topic

(Sorry for the late reply, been busy)

No idea man, I just work here. There have been commercials showing Kool Aid man getting up in the morning, going into the shower, filling up with water, and then squirting in kool-aid. So by assumption, Kool Aid man is Kool Aid man simply because he chooses to be filled with Kool Aid, just like how a goth is a goth because they wear goth clothing, not because they, themselves, are the definition of goth.

The Jug Life

I think the idea is that Kool-aid man is both the liquid and the jug. Though we have clear proof that Kool-aid man is just a big glass jug, and is not the liquid.
