Carcinization is an example of a phenomenon called convergent evolution, which is when different groups independently evolve the same traits. It's the same reason both bats and birds have wings. But intriguingly, the crab-like body plan has emerged many times among very closely related animals.

I agree with OP...would like to be able to do that here on Lemmy as well...if you want to not see a post here, you have to block the user altogether.

Edit: Just tested it OP, after you refresh it goes away...it's just a chance to Undo before it disappears entirely. It's not a terrible change :)

EndeavourOS is an Arch based distro only a lot easier to use...pretty happy with it. I have it down to that or Debian.
