From my own experience, it's mostly just the ones without kids that don't give a shit and have gone apathetic.

Hopefully, the company can send out a server-side fix in short order.

The Chromecast (2nd gen) and Chromecast Audio are two of Google’s oldest devices, with both announced at the same event in September of 2015.

Yeah those are likely considered dead and abandoned by google, they will probably not give a shit about it.

The company behind this robot is going bankrupt, which is why support ends and they stop working. This law would do nothing in this case because the company seizes to exist.

Sort of, but not quite...It's intentionally done in a way that in no way scales well and quickly becomes cost prohibitive for small players (not just individuals) to run a server because it requires an insane amount of data and bandwidth. So in practice you can only run a server if you're willing to throw a shitload of money after server capacity.

Most people still haven't heard of the fediverse. We're in a tiny bubble here, an insignificant fraction standing disconnected from the vast majority of the population.

No

Edit: why the down votes? It has absolutely no impact on the arr-stack, I just answered their question...

ITT: people who apparently despise spending time with their kids so much, that they need to drink to enjoy it.

like WTF people...it's not an issue to have a glass of wine (or whatever) while spending time with your kids. But it's a fucking problem that you don't enjoy it without it.

There is a difference there in that these are digital copies (easy to make more copies) vs physical books (hard to make more copies).

Libraries rent out ebooks too, also easily stripped of DRM and copied if someone wants to so that. But that is seemingly not an issue.

Yes, any VPN provider will see what's in your traffic, no way around that...ever...no matter who you choose

however not all VPN providers will keep a record of your traffic, so it may only exists briefly in their servers as it passes through and then it's gone. This is how companies like mullvad operate. Even if the cops come with a warrant, there will be no evidence because nothing is saved.

Financially? Definitely not

But it's an enjoyable (and occasionally frustrating) hobby, so I'd say it's worth it.
