I honestly couldn't believe it when watching Al Jazeera this morning. It's like the explosion in Lebanon. I can't imagine the chaos of it all for the locals.
As an American, it pisses me off. You can't be both the aggressor and the victim. Unfortunately a lot of it stems from the Orthodox community and they get whatever they want a lot of the time, for whatever reason. The secular folk I know feel it gives them a bad image internationally, which it does. The settlement program needs to end yesterday.

Worked in a PC repair shop. Got an all in one Mac in. Fixed it. Cleaned it up. It's a good show piece for customers to see. Guy comes in with his kid. 5 minutes into transaction I suddenly notice, over his shoulder, the Mac owner's porn collection playing on the screen. Ask customer to read fine print and do a quick move to wake up the Mac.
Those were the days...

Religious conservatives are just weird. Always disturbed me they allowed the Afghans to continue their dancing boy practice just to keep the peace. Look at Iraq burning shit down because a Muslim staged a protest in a free country far far away. I bet they'd dance if the Torah or Bible was the subject of a burning. Fragile people for sure.
I mean, they learned one thing that was beneficial to them. "I need to get the fuck outta here..." and thankfully many did.
