Isn't the price normally given at events like these called a darwin award?
Shinkawa's artwork has always been an absolute joy to behold. I don't understand why his art doesn't adorn the box art of Kojima games anymore.
Same. It's like the one thing where I am a total boomer on
I buy it
Oooh, excellent idea. I'll look into viability of airdropping. Most of our current machines at work are windows machines, so.. while it probably could work, ease of use is also an important aspect when so many of the teachers are a step below tech savvy.
Not to mention ease of use for the pupils who are often even more tech illiterate.
I'll look into it. Thank you!
Not a bad idea. I'll ask! Thank you
There are only two iPads and various student groups who rotate between classes. Group 1 might be in place mondays and thursdays, group 2 on tuesdays and wednesdays.
The software is garage band, and the students all have their own computers, but they're not supposed to bring those to music class because it's too bulky for 30 kids to all bring their laptops and so on.
I forgot to mention that we vote every 4 years on a municipal level and every 4 years on a national government level (offset by two years like summer and winter olympics).
I just looked at the primary elections where we pick the prime minister and parliament, not the smaller municipal elections.
Anyway, it's on average around 77-78%.
It's actually a bit surprising. When I saw these numbers, I thought "shit, 77% is our average? That sucks", heheh. Guess it's pretty decent after all
A charitable reading says that you should still research and verify the things that are "a given". I mean, YOU know it, I know it, we all know it here... But at least now we have an official report to point to when people try to downplay it?
Ah, who am I kidding? They wouldn't care anyway
Has its merits among the world's normies, but if that's not who you are, then that's fine too. :)
The easiest way to navigate social landscapes with people you don't fit 100% with is to latch on to the things that make you fit together.
Like, if sexuality is what sets you apart then focus on talking about books, current events (though if you're from the US, maybe not politics), hobbies etc.
My main squeeze is gaming, but I've gotten a bit to talk about regarding coffee after Covid.
You will always have something to bring to the table, and if the normies are secure in who they are, they won't mind you talking about your sexuality either.
I guess what I'm saying is that you're going to be fine. The normies are certainly not in lockstep like the post suggests, and that's alright. You just focus on being the best version of yourself, and it'll all be okay
Not an ADHD thing. This is someone who is good at mathematics confusing it for ADHD because others say it's wrong.
At least allegedly. I've never in my life seen or heard teachers complain about stuff like this, and I'm in my late thirties.
Then again, I'm European, so that might be why..?
