More or less.
almost freak accident
The purpose of firing a gun is to take a life. It's not a freak accident that this cop pulled the trigger and someone died. That's what the weapon is explicitly designed to do. It's also the reason cops should not be drawing guns as their first response.
I would argue there's a lot of cool, new, tech in this headset to justify some of the price premium. Not $3500 but certainly some of it.
The most ridiculous Apple tax is still either with the$1000 pro stand for the monitor. Or the Apple Mac Pro wheels at $700.
Truth. That OA cancellation still hurts though.
I watched Fringe when it came out and loved it but for whatever reason never saw the final season. Last year I finally went back and finished it. I will concede the ending was a bit rushed but also I'm grateful it did get an ending. A lot of great shows get axed and don't get to wrap up anything. So while not perfect, I'm going to say it was decent enough and does wrap everything up.
It's a great ride along the way too.
Updoots for Fringe. Season 1 is very monster of the week but it's laying groundwork for everything that's coming. It's a fun ride all the way through and it got a decent conclusion. Watch it if you haven't already.
This is an article about the transmission with more details for those interested. https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasas-tech-demo-streams-first-video-from-deep-space-via-laser
Their phrasing isn't perfect, but I believe they're saying,
- Put the whole mixing bowl or pot or whatever you're preparing in,.
- Press the zero out button
- Add your 500g of ingredient
- If you have more things to add, press the zero button again and repeat.
No measuring cups needed at all.
You can see where this probably used to be two smaller rooms. The bathroom looks to be located just off the kitchen. Perhaps it was only a half bath at one point in time or not even a bathroom. At some point they tore down the wall and made it a full bath. I have no idea why they didn't just wall up the door though.
My solution to that is I use Waze for turn by turn navigation on the car screen and then I can pop open Google maps on my phone for the occasional quick search. If I need to update my route then I'll ask Waze to add a stop.
Even if you have a mortgage, better hope you don't have an HOA that can put a lien on your house for not paying the monthly fees
Came to say the same.
