I'm not picking on you, but the comparison to Japan when I read about things like this makes me very uncomfortable. I don't care that some people in Japan are comfortable staying in these things; I never want someone thinking this is acceptable for me to stay in. I don't want living in a box this small to be socially acceptable. This is being pushed on people as the new normal instead of a motel or possibly an apartment and it feels dystopian. My standards for me and everyone else are higher than this.

Between 7digital, HD tracks, Qobuz store, and my local physical media store, Tidal has never made sense to me. For $15 or $20 a month I can buy and own every track and album I want.

I use bottom-of-the-barrel Pandora for streaming when I am working out or washing dishes. That's it.

Hey some of us also use 7digital and Qobuz store. ;)

Does anyone want this? Did anyone enjoy this game back in the day?

I really like my Playdate, and I say this as someone who was very critical of it before it came out ("No color or backlight? Only A and B buttons? Why would anyone pay $200 for that?) and received it as a gift from my very intuitive husband. I am still very critical of the fact that there is no backlight, but the damn thing is so cute and charming. I like playing games on it.

I'm very disappointed that the dock just got shelved and won't be released. Now I have to make my own or buy an Etsy one. :(

Yes absolutely. Others mentioned some of these: Gazelle ( i have one and it's amazing), Riese and Müller, Stromer, Tern, Bulls, Cube, Urban Arrow, and many others. Anything with a Bosch motor is probably worth considering.

Shimano gearing, Enviolo hubs and Rohloff hubs are all good.

Look for a brand and model that doesn't skimp on brake quality.

That's part of what makes it so great; the original story was equally insane.

It recommended adding cycling to the city’s public spaces protection order (PSPO), which aims to tackle antisocial behaviour by banning large gatherings, street drinking, graffiti and loud noise in the city centre, and issuing fines to those who do not comply.

So if the city can issue fines for non-compliance to this law, why can't they issue fines for the small number of cyclists that are currently endangering people? Why ban the 99% of good cyclists instead of going after the bad 1%?

Yeah, the headrests in cars are angled forward because it's the safest in the event of a crash. Unfortunately, that means that the headrests are generally uncomfortable. The back of the head should be resting on the headrest; the neck should NOT be resting on the headrest unless you want to risk permanent injury or death.
