Didn't realize how far back the feed was reaching because everything was limited to a handful of communities on my feed.

No disagreement here.

Just 'cause it was too ridiculous-looking to be real, except it is real. FT tanks were surprisingly small.

No, it isn't the case that we are able to protect our rights by ourselves. I hate reality and all of humanity.

[-] Gadg8eer@lemm.ee 2 points 5 days ago

People are the problem, then. All people. And not in a solvable way.

I can't fucking fix you or myself or anyone else. If technology was the problem, machines can be repaired or replaced. People can't, yet you all insist on being fucking insufferable.

Oh yeah, Trump? Well, come near anyone to defend those fucking nazimobiles (provided there was no one in them, I'm not crazy) over people and see how long you last. This is war, doesn't matter that you're a handful of people with a shitton of money, WE WILL END YOU.

The article itself fits, thank you.

OK, c’est pas vraiment "l’image du jour". Elle correspond plus à la période troublée que nous traversons actuellement.

Meta sneakily introduced "Platform Integrity Attestation API" which basically calls home to see whether the user has a valid license to play.

This means that to run apps user has to have online connection to perform an integrity test. Whether it's only a test on launch or continues call home like Denuvo-like DRMs is not yet clear. This could also mean that modified headsets could fail to pass this test essentially closing down the device for modifications that could damage "platform integrity". Not all details are clear yet but this doesn't look good.

Currently it's optional and up to app developers to enable it.

Maybe so, but at least here people are willing to fucking put themselves between a cop and a Native Canadian they try to abuse, take it to court and the news and the internet, and generally remind people that it's not perfect here either. Also note that my location probably has better treatment of natives than the areas natives live, which is a problem caused by politicians just like it originally was in the US. At least we try to keep it in check and don't deny it happens.

[-] Gadg8eer@lemm.ee 1 points 1 week ago

In the US, absolutely. Fortunately it doesn't have to be that way, however I do not think there is any coming back from the police being the direct successors of slave patrols. Best for the states to just separate into several nations and eventually form some sort of EU-like economic pact, otherwise North America will be the new Africa.

Time we started making anti-money instead. The more you invest per period of time, the less privileges and opportunities you are allowed depending on how much anti-money you're saddled with until you die.

Oh, you don't like that this penalizes tall poppies? I am a tall poppy. The rich cut ME off. Why? Because I was never rich but I had skill and talent and I hate people who abuse authority. Because the rich don't care about tall poppies, they care only about THEIR legacy. Fuck the shears and the gardener, everyone.

I don't think he's disagreeing with you, he's saying that the law has said "No, police are just somehow allowed to do whatever they want and fuck you." and that's grounds for violent revolution because THEY JUST SHOT A KID. THEY WILL SHOOT YOUR KIDS. IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, THEY WILL KILL YOU.

[-] Gadg8eer@lemm.ee 3 points 1 week ago

This was chosen by design. It's the most racist and selfish fucking bullshit you could spew, it ruined policing in the US and that's what the republicans wanted.

[-] Gadg8eer@lemm.ee 1 points 1 week ago

Was annoyed, then confused, then I see what you mean. Yeah, he's got no intention of actually bringing dignity back to the workplace, but some people would be willing to work if jobs were treated in a dignified way. As it is, tipping alone has ruined any possibility that the US would ever let the people "take away" the ability of rich people to have servants.

The Go S is basically the OneXPlayer F1 (a.k.a the "OneXFly"). I've also noticed that sales of the F1 series had occured frequently and they no longer seem to promote it now that the F1 Pro is out for a while. I can only guess the two companies are having a de facto handoff, trading the market share by swapping the roles of their primary devices.

A few preserved iPhone games or something (I think). These are, apparently, an archive of unsupported versions of popular games on phones, which are no longer available on the App Stores. They run inside the browser. These are NOT pirated, if media IS for sale then please support those who make games before resorting to what is legally defined as theft.
