Remember these are the same engineers who put the Magic Mouse charging port on the bottom, making the mouse unusable while you charge it

I didn’t realize Valve released SteamOS to be installed on other devices, that’s killer! I just threw mint on a 15 year old laptop a few weeks ago and VNC into it from my phone to control it as my streaming box.

I’m looking for some advice on how to bond a post-processed resin printed piece to a large PLA print. I assume my options are either superglue or maybe brushing resin onto the PLA, attaching the resin print, and hitting it with a UV light?

Is there a better way? Thanks!

I've been downloading my favorite AH videos all day in case WB decides to pull content, with their history you never know. I was looking into setting up a local NAS last weekend, and all these videos might be my push, I think I'm up to 250 GB downloaded (shoutout to youtube-dl) with the long 1080p60 files, hopefully I can cut that down with some HandBrake trickery.

The writing was on the walls for a while, Achievement Hunter breaking up was a huge red flag, but definitely not the first sign. I have only really consumed their podcasts for the last few years, and it sounds like The Roost will continue for now while WB looks for a buyer, but I think we have to wait for their stream tomorrow to find out what that means in terms of what productions if any are going to continue.

The amount of websites that limit passwords to 16 characters is alarming

If I sleep on my back I get the most vivid and long nightmares, and, if I fall asleep in another position and then wake up from a nightmare, I’m almost always on my back. Not sure what it is, fiancée says I don’t snore or sound like I have trouble breathing.

I will hold onto my $700 3080 until it spits fire, cannot believe I was lucky enough to get it at launch.

I use Photopea all the time, I love it because the UI is almost an exact copy paste of PS, my only complaint is I wish they had a lifetime license to get rid of that side bar ad, the only options are all subscriptions/monthly. And I know the donate page literally says they don’t do subscriptions, but what else do you call a one time payment for 30 days of ad free?

Ad block works to block the ad, but I haven’t found a way to get that screen space back.

Yes, this helmet is too small for the head, also keep in mind that the helmets are worn with a slight tilt forward and everything below the mouth grill goes below the chin. See these pics for an idea of scale from the black series helmet.

I have lived in northern Nevada for eight years, the amount of trash left in Black Rock and what they dump around Reno the days after Burning Man is over makes them seem a whole lot less climate conscious. I’ve seen piles of playa dust covered junk just dumped in streets and parking lots and RVs dumping directly into street gutters. Many Renoites will tell you similar stories, unfortunately.

I had professors do different wordings for questions throughout college, I never encountered a professor or TA that wouldn’t clarify if asked, and, generally, the amount of confusing questions evened out across all of the versions, especially over a semester. They usually aren’t doing it to trick students, they just want to make it harder for one student to look at someone else’s test.

There is a risk of it negatively impacting students, but encouraging students to ask for clarification helps a ton.

I will be doing a good amount of international travel in a month and have been looking for some headphones in the $300ish range with solid ANC. I have a pair of AirPods Pro, and they are just alright on flights as far as ANC goes, and I don't want to deal with charging them every few hours.

I went around to multiple local Best Buys to try out the Bose QC45, Sony XM4, and Sony XM5, and was honestly very disappointed. All three of them only had a tiny change between ambient mode and ANC mode. I also had the same experience with a pair of Bose 700s in all ANC modes. I could still clearly hear customer and employee conversations going on around the store, and I could hear my partner talking next to me, all with none of the demo music playing. I tried out my AirPods Pro immediately after each one and was able to cut out significantly more noise. This experience was the same at each of the Best Buys I went to, and I went to multiple hoping that the first Best Buy just had broken demo units maybe.

One of the Best Buys had a pair of Airpods Max to try, those also cut out significantly more noise.

I have seen nothing but praise for how good the ANC is on all of these Bose and Sony headphones, I would expect them to at least be as good as AirPods, I have tried a family member's XM3s a few years ago and was absolutely blown away by how good the ANC was. Do these demo units just suck? I don't really want to spend $300 just to find out, but I cannot think of another reason.

Really happy to get such a big harvest while also fighting daily with squash bugs.
