They now officially completed their own RSHA, Einchmann would be proud.

I don’t know, the person who dismantled the KleptoCapture programs, reallocated personnel and ressources previously dedicated to targeting Russian oligarchs towards drugs cartel, ended the foreign influence task force and reduced FARA enforcement publicly stating her "heart(!) and prayers go out to her family and friends" after the death of the most prominent figure involved in preventing and fighting foreign influences specially from Russia, is quite disturbing to say the least.

Dozens of Social Security Administration offices across the country are slated to close this year due to actions taken by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency as part of the Trump administration’s unprecedented effort to shrink the size of government.

I would argue that women are still less likely to engage in extreme violent crimes like this one than men who are, for example, threatened to be exposed as being queer or having weird kinks. Such profiles are harder to foster but much more effective.

Then they sign the "To Aid Tinnitus Effectiveness" act, making it mandatory for schools and libraries to put Tate’s podcast on repeat at maximum volume as a way of "enhancing learning capabilities", if silence feels good it must be woke!

Columbia University has capitulated to Trump Administration demands in order to secure federal funding. The major concessions are as follows.

> Columbia will ban masks on campus during protests.

> The University will hire 36 more on campus police officers.

> The Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies Departments will be placed under Academic Receivership for 5 years, meaning the departments will be run by an outside group while the existing staff will be put under their control.

> The University will adopt a "position of institutional neutrality".

> The University will hire more Jewish academics for its Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies in order to counter balance pro-Palestinian staff.

I mean they do lobby for republican lawmakers and recently donated more than $80k worth to individuals who actively supported the "Don't Say Gay" bill…

They made a deal with DeSantis, meaning this move would not happen without consulting him first. From my understanding, due to the backlash against American companies, especially Tesla, Disney can get in hot water financially. They export American soft power all over the world, so it is important not to tarnish their appearance especially in a context where there is trump in power, imagine if tomorrow they decided to stop DEI for good; the Disney Parks around the world and Disney World would get hit financially as well as their movie industry, thus also hitting Florida's economy centered around fun parks and tourism. It’s some kind of abusive co-dependency.

I agree but in my opinion the truth should still be spoken.

The dishonesty you are displaying throughout this thread is truly worrying…

Anything but talk about the actual post… smh

[-] GreyAlien@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago

You are right that it is necessary to have this conversation but is it the right place to do it under this particular post ?

Also even if I totally understand your point of view and could definitely debate about it, something is bothering me, where does the democratic party errors comes into play? Why put all the blames on a minor part of the voter base? If we look at hard numbers the chances of Kamala winning were still extremely low even if she won their votes so it’s seem pointless for me to always keep poking the wounds under any post with a mention of Palestinians.

My point is that we should be going forward and not ostracizing a part of the voter base even more, these are hard times ahead of us and uniting is what I think the only solution, some Pro-Palestinians may have not voted or even voted for trump but we need to remember that if they are (rightly) angry it’s because they have been failed, I cannot fathom how one must feel seeing dozens of corpses everyday that looks like them for more than a year while knowing their taxes go towards the ones doing it.

It’s a duty to reconcile the voter base and create a strong front against fascism worldwide.

  1. I may have used the wrong word but I think you understood what I meant. It’s not an essay, I was displaying the fact that some minority opinions and certain groups of individuals get targeted because they are easy target that helps sway the blame away.

  2. About your second point, I don’t think it’s correct or else we wouldn’t be reading the gloating in the comments I’m targeting.

  3. I am not and will never be a centrist nor a republican, but I will criticize what I deem injustice, bad policies, weak strategies (like ostracizing more of your voter base to make them numb)… etc

So the mask comes off. Rather than encouraging the exchange of ideas with people who make the effort of using a language other than their own, you resort to insults…. pathetic.
