Could an argument be made that it's nice to have a militaristic presence where a lot of oil is?
It can stay but I'd like to restrict the packaging size of highly processed food and food that's otherwise extremely unhealthy.
For example breakfast cereal. Wtf? How does that even exist? Why was I allowed to eat a fucking bowl of that in the morning as a child?
I'm not a fan of healthy young people using e-bikes but the speed argument is in bad faith. To hit 20mph for more than a short moment you have to be a fit, experienced rider unless you have a fancy race bike which is tricky to ride and will massively limit where you can ride, the comfort and safety for anyone who doesn't basically live on their bike.
I want to see people splitting up their Funko pop collection during a divorce like that pathetic couple back then with their Beanie babies.

That wasn't a nice thing to do but you have to respect the badassness of someone who fucking intentionally blasts into the second floor of a house with their car. I wouldn't have the courage to do that.

I actually think posting bots make the platform much more attractive for new users. Tbh the overall quality of content on Lemmy can be dogshit at times in regards of memes, regardless of whether it was a bot post or not. The only way to improve quality in humor is to throw a lot of stuff out there, see what sticks and get that upvoted. A lot of the lower quality content should turn into white noise so you only see it if you're actively monitoring new posts in a magazine.
Informative content doesn't suffer in quality from less contribution in the same way I think.
Kinda, but in essence they're both about hiding and escaping from an overwhelming foe.
Hopefully they're not run by autocoratic dinosaurs that dream about restoring an ancient empire for ego reasons while oppressing and lying to billions of people.

Usually you want trees grown in forests for lumber as they grow straight upwards due to limited space. Free standing trees are usually bent in all kinds of shapes so they're not as easy to work with. It'll most likely be turned into firewood.
