can't wait for the empty seats pics

I left mmos due to my wife spending to much on "free" games for awhile. I miss them in some ways but also am sorta glad. They were easy to over indulge in and I have a lot of responsibilities. single player, buy once and done, games along with streaming shows or movies is so much easier to take or leave. No limited events or dailies or anything.

I don't know anything about the sub but usually agnostic ones where bigger on engaging in religious discussion just like most islam subs or christian subs don't really want to debate what religion is correct. Its a made up mind. I used to be very agnostic and was more into debating but now im very athiest and im no longer really searching in regards to the metaphysical because I have made up my mind its not a thing and its not as fun as debating if doctor strange could beat doctor fate in a fight.

and xmass is the worst culprit. It really annoys me as I like the simple fall type stuff before thankgiving. I totally hate anything xmass wise before the day after thanksgiving. instead it tries to tread on holloween which is nuts.

that right question to ask thing really speaks to me. I have found across the board that places do not have employees that know the business and expect you to. What they really expect is that the software they bought will allow them to hire people that don't know what they are doing for less and the software will do the work. they want the mcdonalds registers that use icons for a big mac or such. its so not working.

It is so funny they talk about the look and presentation when its so much easier to just spew out whatever is at tip of your brain with no care about veracity.

yeah its a short hand for a collection of trends. Of course everyone is different but people of similar ages will have more in common with each other. Because of baby boom people born around that time had an outside effect on the country and generations were talked about more. I mean hippies, yuppies, and even maga now. What can you point to for Xers? clerks. How about millenials and Y? That outsized effect is what made it more a thing.

according to the article "Inflation has risen quickly over the past few years — but wages have been rising slightly faster." but for me this is patently not so. Granted I have not left my job which is maybe the problem.

like anything it had its influences and influenced others. Had its pure true believers and posers. To me true punk folks you would know when you slammed dance with them and it was fun and although a bit scary you felt safe.

kbin had collections. Im on mbin now and I was not able to find it but im not sure if that is just because I may not be able to find the config. Trust cafe (not part of the federation) has a neat concept which I would love to see in the fediverse. Basically all the things you can block or subscribe also has a trust which is basically a weight on how much you favor it. By default they are 50 but you can raise or lower them. So you could drop news sources to 25 and hobby ones to 75 lets say and now the hobbies will be given greater weight in your feed. You can do it with users to so if you have someone who posts good stuff you can weight them higher. On the other side if someones stuff tends to be crap but you don't want to outright block them you can just dial them down to 5 or something

pollution. im not even talking climate change but that we continue to survive generally by polluting more. even when we do things better we just grow more and end up polluting more and eventually we will drop but we will continue by eating our own tale but the result will not be infinite.
