Here in my country, it's not hard to find male Swifties your age. Not really surprising since we're the first country in 2022 to have Cruel Summer back in our charts, several months before it went #1 in USA.

As I mentioned in my previous comment, they use the portals API to access and save files.

The problem is that lack of telemetry is one of the reasons why a lot of distros are still not as good as they can possibly be. FOSS should destigmatize telemetry, for innovation's sake.

This is a completely patched Ubuntu 16.04 through the Extended Security Maintenance program.

I would have tried this on Ubuntu 14.04 (supported until 2024) but Flatpak never supported 14.04 in the first place.

Yes. Although the previous method didn't really need manual intervention, so as long as you go online at least once every few months it gets automatically renewed.

But this method activates Office permanently with no need for internet connection, so you can run away from civilization to an unmapped forest with your laptop, and Office remains activated even if you stay there forever.

I have been using uBlock for an extremely long time now and sites seem to become faster over time even though I have never upgraded my laptop all these years.

When I tried to disable uBlock for a day, my laptop forcefully shut down after 30 minutes.

Software optimization over time improves performance but is outweighted by the tracking crap they put in there.

American politics isn't confined to America. Vote for Republicans so their climate plans can kill us all here in the Philippines with typhoons.

Ironically, Fedora's setup becoming the future of Linux makes it easier to tinker.

OCI images used in immutable distros such as Bazzite are very easily customizable and are much safer to tinker with. If you mess up with packages, you can roll back to the previous state and fix it. Mutable distros are also like this, but the recovery process is much more complicated and leaves leftovers in the long run.

See the Tinkerers' Guide for more details.

Fedora Kinoite is a good option for you. It's extremely stable and the software is very up-to-date as it heavily relies on Flatpak.

Kinoite uses KDE. If you want to give GNOME a try, Fedora Silverblue is practically Kinoite that uses GNOME.
