If one gallon is 3.785 liters, then one gallon is less than 4 liters. So, 4 liters should've been the answer.

For real, we need more phones that are compatible with GrapheneOS. Going to Google for THE De-googled phone is nothing shy of extremely ironic and borderline hypocritical.

Putting aside for the moment the fact that psychedelics are essentially just causing your brain to [temporarily] malfunction, this description eerily resembles the post-trip phase of psychedelics. You come back from essentially getting your blindfolds taken from you, seeing the world in ways that make sense only during the psychedelic trip, and even then it's all overwhelming, only to come back and question just about EVERYTHING about reality. It's been 3 years and I'm still going down the quantum physics/cosmology rabbit hole (as well as the philosophy and metaphysics rabbit holes, thanks exurb1a), all due to a strong bad LSD trip. It's beautiful, it's expanded my knowledge of things, but it is, indeed, very much like madness.

I mean I've been a pirate for a WHILE and you generally do see ads on opensubtitles subs. Generally it's opensubtitles saying you can advertise with them, or credits for subtitles that stay on the screen for way too long, but this has been a thing forever now, I don't recall a time when this wasn't done.

I don't think I can take the moral high ground on it seeing as...well, I am a pirate lol. We out here doing our best to stay afloat, opensubtitles included.

It's a matter of who gets tired quicker at this point, YouTube, ublock maintainers, or users. We're on the losing side, and alternative front ends sound like the "we're cornered" solution. I imagine Google won't take long to break them as well.

Joke's on them, now it's easier to get high quality pirated content since it's all on streaming services. A bunch more pirates compete on encoding quality and the best win, giving you more options, better qualities, and faster releases with high seed counts. As a bonus, most subtitles work for different releases since they're all from the same source. Between that, storage space costs going all the way down, and all the corporate greed leading to N streaming services with expensive subscription costs, it's the Plex/Jellyfin golden era. I'm currently serving about 40 friends and family with my Plex/*arr setup, and I'm about to add Tdarr to the mix to move everything over to HEVC and save up some disk space.

Other people on the thread have commented that it's actually due to Firefox not implementing WebUSB due to security concerns, so it is technically a valid message, but for the wrong reasons. Why the hell does this need to be a web app?

Oh it does. Neolibs looooove privatization. I'm from Honduras, where the modus operandi is to drive public entities to the ground from the inside in order to justify privatization, and then just pretend it's doing its job while corpos and politicians line their pockets. We're currently under a leftist government, and one of the first steps it took was to retake control of the energy sector, since it got privatized and sold to a Colombian company, a stunt that ended up in millions in debt and led to a mud fight between the private company and the government, which resulted in, among all the lawsuits back and forth, constant country-wide blackouts during a few months this year. It's the first leftist government in over a decade, and it's admittedly not doing great (we really don't have our shit together), but people here tend to forget we were sold a capitalist dystopia dressed up as a utopia, by a druglord-president that's currently holed up in NY over drug and arms trafficking charges.

Well from some quick reading online, it's not for downloading drivers. It's literally an internet service Logitech is forcing its users to use in order to connect their peripherals, it's insane.

As if it wasn't bad enough that they want me to use a random internet service to add a keyboard to a usb wifi receiver, they have the balls to put this for Firefox users. I clicked out of pure curiosity, as I'm not even remotely interested in involving a corporate internet service in getting my keyboard connected to my computer. This is the message you get now on Logi Options software if you have a Unifying Receiver: This is the message you get now on Logi Options software if you have a Unifying Receiver

For the curious: https://logiwebconnect.com

EDIT: some people on the thread have brought up that the error message being displayed for Firefox users is due to the WebUSB API not being implemented by Firefox due to security concerns. This still does not justify having to use a web app to plug peripherals to a PC.

I just did a search just like OP said and while it's true that most results are just outdated scraped content where my posts and comments have been deleted, I did find one just now that doesn't appear on my account overview, but that I could see, edit, and delete on the reddit thread itself.

Its a commonly floated idea among my circles, and by me personally, that we kinda just want to fuck off and build a comfy commune somewhere not too hot, not too cold, just away from cities, and try to be as self-sufficient as possible. Just a small group of friends and family. It's kinda what I'm saving up for, if I'm honest, because buying a city house is just.... Prohibitively expensive for what it is.
