Oh shit, the might be what I need to finally unsubscribe from the last few streaming services I pay for and fully hit the high seas.

eta: downloaded it and spent the last 30 minutes perusing and bought the app. Looks great.

A quick google estimates that there are between 45 and 72 millions Catholics in the US and between 90 and 100 million evangelicals.

This article says Catholics make up 12% of registered voters while evangelicals make up about 20%.

Between 77% and 84% of white evangelicals voted for trump depending on which reports you look at.

Evangelicals are the larger bloc, and a larger percentage of them voted trump.

Can’t disagree with you there.

Nooooo. I’m locked in.

It’s that interest rates went up and prices fell as a result. My area just leveled off and hasn’t grown since I bought.

yep, polyamory has redefined cheating for me and it's much more grounded now than it used to be. cheating is breaking established agreements. in a monogamous relationship that's typically defined as infidelity. in ENM it can be just about anything and it might be different with each and every partner. the key aspect is that there's a mutual agreement and that agreement was violated.

Good try though.

I recently started delivering with DoorDash to add some cushion to my budget and this week I had someone buy a single two pound bag of spaghetti noodles from Safeway.

I got laid $6.75 for the delivery after tip (DoorDash paid me $4.75 and the customer gave me a $2 tip). The noodles cost 3.84 at Safeway, and $4.18 on the app, and Safeway is a zero dollar delivery fee shopping experience.

As far as I can tell, it cost DoorDash a dollar or two for me to make that delivery, and/or the customer paid a lot more than $6.75 for the noodles for it to make sense for DoorDash to take.

It was a sort of surreal experience.

First and foremost the headline is intended to make it sound like Spotify is losing that money. Just look at the comments here and you can see that it’s very commonly misunderstood.

That said, opportunity cost is considered an irrelevant cost.

A relevant cost deals with actual cash flow, and opportunity cost is vapor because it doesn’t actually hit the ledger in any way. It’s nothing more than a way to express potential revenue changes, which are really just educated guesses.

If opportunity costs were meaningful at all then every business would be losing trillions of dollars.

I like the character and the actor, so I saw it today and was very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it a lot.
